2023 Martinelli ‘Lolita Ranch’ Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

WA95 The 2023 Pinot Noir Lolita Ranch features vibrant aromas of raspberry, strawberry, rose petal, tea leaves, tangerine peel and bitters. The medium-bodied palate is expressive and spicy with crunchy, detailed flavors and well-integrated new oak spice. It’s framed by silky tannins and vibrant acidity and has a long, ethereal finish. 331 cases were made. It will be released in August 2025.
JD94 A bright red hue, the 2023 Pinot Noir Lolita Ranch is spicy and has more lifted aromas of orange oils, red cherries, hints of cola, and anise. Made from the Dijon 667 and 777 selections of Pinot Noir, the palate is fruity and approachable, although it feels like it has more underlying structure and will benefit from time to shed its more primary fruit. Drink 2026-2040.
