Medium-bodied and focused, with ripe tannins, it displays an elegant, beautifully balanced, seamless, and layered profile. This stunning Pinot Noir will drink beautifully over the coming 10-12 years.
VIN94 The 2023 Pinot Noir Soberanes Vineyard wears its 30% whole clusters to great effect. A sweet core of blueberry fruit, grilled rosemary, tobacco, rose stem and black pepper intensifies with air. This is a voluptuous, seamless wine with understated power. Soberanes’ hallmark rocky minerality emerges on the finish. Excellent.
JS94 Perfumes of hibiscus and rose petals lift the well-structured, balanced flavors of brambleberries and fresh cherries. A quiet citrus note of blood oranges sweeps in on the midpalate and through the finish. Fresh herbs as well. Very textural with impressive length, acidity and complexity. Drink or hold.
