JD95-97 Sweet currant, black cherry liqueur, chocolaty oak, tobacco, and even some obvious lead pencil notes all emerge from the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Carter Carter, a medium to full-bodied, incredibly well-balanced, plush, seamless beauty that has tons of character. The classic 2023 tannins are certainly here, yet I just love its overall balance and texture.
Estate Notes: This low production 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from hand selected fruit out of our best vineyards. This is a classical Napa Cabernet in both structure and elegance. Boasting a purple color and dense flavors of black cherries, crushed stone and dried spices matched with a well-integrated oak profile. On the nose, lively fruit dances with minerality and spices to make a signature profile that will only improve with time.
