JS94 A restrained and minerally wine with aromas of stones, ferns, sage, lime peel and Mirabelle plums. The palate is smooth, rich and medium- to full-bodied, crisp and chewy, with a fruity, slightly almondy finish. Drink or hold.
Estate Notes: The entry point to Benito Ferrara’s acclaimed Greco di Tufo range. Terre d’Uva draws from the estate’s younger vines and multiple parcels around the village of Tufo, where volcanic tuff and sulfur-rich soils create wines of distinctive mineral intensity. The Ferrara family has grown grapes here since the 1880s, and their expertise shows even in this introductory bottling. Crisp, mineral, with citrus and almond notes characteristic of the variety. An outstanding value introduction to one of southern Italy’s great white wines.
