Walter Hansel ‘Cahill Lane’ Russian River Valley Chardonnay

VIN93 The 2021 Chardonnay The North Slope Vineyard is a field blend of clones 95 and 76. It is one of the richest Chardonnays in this range, much of which can be attributed to low yields in heavily virused wines. Dried pear, chamomile, crushed flowers and a hint of tangerine oil all grace this rich, flavorful Chardonnay. The 2021 is a rich, heady wine. It’s a style that works so well here.

Saxon Brown Durell Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

True to its pedigree, our 2019 Durell Vineyard Hayfield Block Pinot Noir displays both the depth of flavor and elegant structure this celebrated vineyard is known for. The wine’s dark berry and plum core gains richness on the mid palate, broadening to take on notes of brown spice and sweet vannilin oak, all framed by fine grained tannins that add grip and complexity throughout the lengthy finish. 18 months in 50% New French Oak. 75 cases produced.

Gamba ‘Messana Vineyard’ Fountain Grove District Zinfandel

The 2019 offering of the Messana Zinfandel shows off a brilliant dark garnet hue. With a swirl, notes of dark plum, brown spices and vanilla emerge in the nose. The wine fans out on the palate with its round and polished texture, bursting in the mouth with an array of stone fruits and berries that fill the senses, finishing with leather and subtle woody tones. The wine is medium to full in body, balanced with a proportionate acidity, lifting the wine and highlighting the youthful freshness of the fruit. Enjoy now in its lovely fruit driven youth, however patience will be rewarded as the wine develops with cellar aging over the next 5-7 years.
