The Sparkling Duo includes one bottle each of the following wines:
Terres Secretes Rosé Cremant de Bourgogne Brut NV WSI94 Terres Secretes Rosé Cremant is a tremendous value and dead-ringer in terms of quality to many fine Pinot Noir-based Champagnes. Crémant de Bourgogne is a particular treat and a smart buy, considering that it is made with the exact same grapes as is fine Champagne, but grown instead on Burgundy’s limestone terroirs (and legendary terroir at that). What’s particularly evocative is the sparklers’ red-wine signature—with each sip you notice classic Pinot aromas of red berries and a light spice, a weighty richness on the tongue combined with a classically dry, lively Champagne personality. Extended aging in bottle too produces a more vinous wine, with a silky, weightier texture and finer bubbles. A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay.
NV Loredan Gasparini Asolo Brut Prosecco Superiore DOCG WSI93 Delicate creamy texture and intense floral notes with a vibrantly refreshing finish. White flowers, ripe pears, apples, a little bit of anise and fresh herbs. Great acidity too. This derives from a selection of the best grapes from the old “Belvedere Vineyard”, a plot dating back to 1969, situated on the Montello hillside (to the North of Venice) in the historic Prosecco Superiore area. Apart from the characteristics of the grapes used, which stem from old Prosecco clones, another feature of this Cuvée is the natural winemaking method used. 100% Glera
