These delicious, food-friendly and accessible wines have elegance and balance. Many of these are “hidden gems” that you won’t find in a wine country tasting map, yet we highly recommend them.

Arbe Garbe White Blend Russian River Valley The Arbe Garbe White Blend (50% Malvasia, 30% Tocai, 20% Chardonnay) is absolutely gorgeous. The wine is medium to full in body, offering bright, floral aromatics that lead to apricot, lemon confit, jasmine and mint. Beautifully perfumed throughout, the wine offers a compelling interplay of exotic fruit, lifted aromatics and pliant texture.

Davis Estates ‘Hungry Blonde’ Chardonnay Napa Valley WSI93+ Made by the iconic Cary Gott, the fruit for this captivating Chardonnay comes from the Poe Vineyard, which sits adjacent to the world renowned Hyde Vineyard.Sweet melon and honeysuckle on the nose, tropical fruit explosion on the palate. 

County Line Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast WSI93 The County Line Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir embodies the vibrant freshness and approachability of ripe coastal fruit. Bright raspberry, cranberry, and fresh alpine strawberries highlight the nose and palate. Subtle notes of violet and fennel weave throughout, further enhancing the vibrant freshness. Balanced tannins add structure to this smooth, easy-drinking wine. Organically farmed.

Bucklin Estate ‘Bambino’ Old Hill Ranch Sonoma Valley Jammy and plump, with blackberry and currant flavors highlighted by savory underbrush, licorice and smoke notes, leading to medium-grained tannins. The teenage “Bambino” vines were planted in 2000 and represent our “young vine” Zinfandel. The 2018 blend is at least 75% Zinfandel that is co-fermented with Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouchet. 

Brown Estate ‘Chaos Theory’ Red Blend Napa Valley WSI92+ Tea rose, exotic spice, kirsch liqueur, cola, cloves, traces of Italian sports car leather. Ripe, juicy, and lush with precise structure and smooth velocity/finish. 35% Merlot, 35% Petite Sirah, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Zinfandel.

Titus Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley WSI94+ The wine pops out of the glass with dried cherry, plum, cigar box and ground coffee aromas. The palate is rich with concentrated pomegranate, French plum, mocha, fresh herbs and spice that holds through the round mid-palate.
