1995 Opus One Meritage Napa Valley

WS 95 A shade more elegant and refined than the ’94, yet sharing the delicious range of flavors, with bright black cherry, plum and floral notes. Turns smooth and polished. True to form, this renowned California red weaves a complex array of currant, plum, leather, spice and mineral flavors, with a seamless texture and lush but firm tannins. Finishes with an extra lift that keeps the flavors alive and lingering. Quite impressive. Best from 2003 through 2014.
