2019 Groom Shiraz Barossa Valley South Australia

Our 2018 Groom Shiraz is another delicious wine. It’s rich, bold juicy and vibrant. The color is dark and enticing, typical for this wonderful grape variety. The nose oozes of black fruits, licorice, mocha and vanilla. The new oak maturation influence is subtle but adds some caramel and smokiness on the aroma. The palate is pure Shiraz, silky, sexy and beckoning to have that second glass. The alcohol is slightly higher than our average due to the slightly warmer and drier vintage conditions. This wine will age incredibly well and will reward those who cellar it.  Barrel aging: 18 months, 55% American oak and 45% French. 100% Shiraz.
