The grapes for this wine were grown on our organically farmed Valle di Sotto Vineyard in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District. Our Unoaked Chardonnay does not see any time in Oak Barrels. Rather, after fermentation is complete, we age this wine for a few months in stainless steel to preserve the natural brightness and freshness of these beautiful tropical notes. 100% stainless steel barrels for six months.
The family founded Clif Bar in 1992 – then got into wine around 1997 in Napa Valley – today, on CCOF-certified organic farm they grow a variety of fruits and vegetables that make their way to Clif Family Bruschetteria Food Truck and into and preserved fruit and vegetable products. The wine is sourced from some of the best vineyards in the Napa Valley and Mendocino appellations, working with growers that have demonstrated a commitment to the environment and sustainable farming of their land.
