This is the One. The wine you cannot pass up. This phenomenal cabernet is made by 2016 winemaker of the year Julien Fayard, who learned his craft at Chateau Lafite Rothschild, Julien gained valuable first-hand experience as Director of Winemaking for Philippe Melka at elite Napa Valley producers like Lail, Gemstone, and Vineyard 29… Julien Fayard teamed up with vintner Matt Hardin who under renoned vineyard manager Jim Barbour has helped farm some of the most renowned vineyards in Napa including Hundred Acre, Herb Lamb and Checkerboard. These two heavy hitters combine forces to produce a stellar 100% Napa Cab for the money: Rich, lush and intense on the nose and in the mouth. Layers of dark fruits, chocolate truffle, earthy spices and cigar leaf are buffered by smooth, silky tanning and lead to a seductive and lengthy finish. The Matthew Wallace Cabernet can hold its own against any of the Napa Valley heavy hitters!

Tasting Notes:

Rich, lush and intense on the nose and in the mouth. Layers of dark fruits, chocolate truffle, earthy spices and cigar leaf are buffered by smooth, silky tanning and lead to a seductive and lengthy finish. The fruit is sourced from Regusci Vineyard, from one of the finest blocks on the ranch, encompassing a westward-facing steep hillside that produces fruit of remarkable concentration and depth.
