WRAITH: 100 Points. Infinite Bragging Rights.

2021 Hundred Acre 'Wraith' Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

Let’s get one thing straight: The 2021 Hundred Acre ‘Wraith’ Cabernet Sauvignon is a power move! Some wines make you pause. This one makes time stand still.

Smugly ignore anyone who says “points don’t matter.” This bottle is more than deserving of its two 100-point scores (from Decanter and The Wine Independent).

The 2021 ‘Wraith’ is a portal into winemaker Jayson Woodbridge’s twisted genius: ‘Wraith’ blends all three of his legendary vineyards (Ark, Few and Far Between, and Morgan’s Way) into one unholy union of brooding fruit, earthy seduction, and cosmic structure. It’s skyscraper-tall and opera-house elegant, with iris and truffle perfume, firm fine tannins, and an epically long finish that might outlive us all.

Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of Napa Valley mythology.

2021 Hundred Acre ‘Wraith’ Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley

TWI100 Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 Wraith is a touch subdued to start, needing a bit of patient swirling to bring out the complex perfume of iris, dark chocolate, anise, and cassis, opening out to a profound core of juicy plums and a myriad of earthy/loamy scents. The full-bodied palate is built like a skyscraper with a solid structure of firm, fine-grained tannins and with a refreshing backbone lifting the intricate perfume to an epically long finish. A wine that is as breathtakingly beautiful as it is cerebral.
